Board Changes: Continuity and Realignment

The Management Board and Supervisory Board of Schattdecor SE announces important personnel changes in the Management Board.

The Supervisory Board of Schattdecor SE has decided to extend the Management Board contract signed in 2021 with Michael Then, Chief Production Officer, by a further three years. Michael Then has been working for the Schattdecor Group with passion and expertise in various functions since 1998. Prior to his current position as Chief Production Officer, he was Head of Surface Production. "We are grateful for his outstanding commitment and look forward to continuing our successful collaboration," commented Reiner Schulz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schattdecor SE.

Frank Schumacher, who as a member of the Management Board has been responsible for Sales and Strategic Purchasing since September 1, 2019, will leave Schattdecor SE for personal reasons and by mutual agreement on March 31, 2024. "Under his leadership of Sales and Strategic Purchasing, the company has achieved significant successes. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Mr. Schumacher and wish him all the best for his personal future and, above all, good health," said Reiner Schulz.

To ensure continuity in management and at the same time provide new impetus, Roland Auer will take over the Sales division as CEO with immediate effect, while Michael Then will assume responsibility for the Strategic Purchasing division.

With these changes, Schattdecor considers itself well equipped to continue to operate successfully in the market.
