Claus Neuffer Becomes New Chief Technology and Sustainability Officer

Claus Neuffer has been appointed to the Management Board of surface specialist Schattdecor with responsibility for the Technology and Sustainability divisions, effective January 1, 2024. He succeeds Roland Heeger, who was previously responsible for the global fortunes of the Technology division for 18 years. New: With Neuffer, Sustainability has become part of the Executive Board. Dr. Derick Beitel, Chief Financial Officer, will be responsible for IT.

Claus Neuffer has been with Schattdecor since 2000 and brings decades of experience to his new position. His career has been marked by many years working abroad at Schattdecor locations such as Brazil, where he has repeatedly demonstrated his understanding of markets and requirements.

He has been actively involved in the expansion of the Group and has been co-responsible for the establishment of new sites in Russia, China, Poland and Brazil. From 2004 to 2010, he was Managing Director in Brazil. After ten years abroad, he returned to Thansau, where he and his team have been responsible for technical projects and investments within the Schattdecor Group - most recently as Head of Technology.

In his new position, his main objective is to expand the Group's focus on technology and sustainability and to drive it forward with a corresponding strategic vision. The addition of the Sustainability function to the Management Board underlines Schattdecor's ongoing commitment to this important issue. As a manufacturing company, Schattdecor remains committed to meeting the highest environmental standards and focuses on technological innovation as a central pillar of its production and business practices.
