Schattdecor will be exhibiting at the 2010 Indiawood taking place in Bangalore, India, between 4 and 8 March. The German decor printing company will be showcasing new decors and digital printing designs in hall 1 s well as displaying the nature-oriented trend themes previously unveiled at its showing at the ZOW Bad Salzuflen in February.  
Nature is serving designers and architects as an object of emulation and source of inspiration, resulting in new design solutions in which a symbiosis with natural warm elements is marking the gradual retreat of cool minimalism.
At the same time a new trend is coming about in furniture design that overstates nature's form language to yield unexpected solutions. This new style offers simplicity and a light feel, with carefully chosen furnishings, colours and surfaces adding up to a look of charming plainness.
This overall development is giving rise to certain styles that Schattdecor's Design team categorises as FOR ALL, FOR US and FOR ME:

FOR ALL stands for natural surfaces in contrast with cool, industrial materials, while FOR US signifies artisan-made objects combined with modern design objects that reproduce natural structures. Finally, FOR ME represents the dialogue of natural-looking surfaces with artistic details. 

FOR ALL
Canterbury Oak
This decor convincingly captures the look of floorboards in solid oak. Special attention has been paid to underscoring the natural character of the cathedrals and the crisp outlines of the pores. The result is a 3D effect that further emphasises the impression of great authenticity created by Canterbury Oak.   

FOR US
Arusha Wenge
This new decor is characterised by an attractive 3D look that takes its inspiration from wire-brushed hardwood. The narrow planking features finely-grained areas in alternation with decorative flowered sections.

FOR ME
Montreux Walnut
Striking growth rings featuring side-cut figures and subtle streaking add interest to the predominantly straight-grained composition of this typical French walnut.
