Decors with the new Smartfoil Real finish offer alternating matte and gloss effects for a unique effect that resembles a three-dimensional texture, such as a porous grain. As tests have shown, selected decors equipped with this finish offer the warm and velvety feel of real veneer.
The Smartfoil 3D and Postfoil 3D finishes use the components of ink and lacquer to yield the tactile and visual realism of a relief-like surface, thus entering a completely new dimension in foil finishes. Intended for use with especially developed decors, these three-dimensional textures are highly impressive in effect. By giving furniture items the look and feel of real wood, they open up undreamed-of possibilities for designers in terms of underscoring the form and function of furniture items.

The new Smart- and Postfoil products offer ease of processing with all commonly-used adhesive and substrate systems, as exhaustive testing all over the world confirms. As these tests have also shown, certain combinations of foil, adhesive and wood-based substrate are particularly suitable for achieving certain desired effects.
