Between 14 and 17 November, Schattdecor will be participating in the Index fair in Dubai again, putting its top-rate surface finish expertise on display at booth B325 in hall 8.

For example, it will be showcasing a new high-gloss stone decor in the form of Statuario Venato. This unusual marble-inspired decor offers lively and contrast-rich veining for an impression of elegance and depth. The interplay of arresting lines and structures and the subtle gradations of background colour add up to an interesting effect. The decor's decidedly spacious layout predestines it for use in furniture design and in interior architecture with a modern, expansive look. Staturio Venato is particularly effective when realised in a high-gloss finish. The mirror gloss finish is   particularly suited for exclusive high-quality furnishing styles. 

Particular emphasis will also be placed on Coimbra Ash, Arusha Wenge and Merapi Macassar among the furniture decors, while Opera Fantastico will be shown as an example of a flooring decor with an arresting effect.

Coimbra Ash is an extremely natural-looking addition to Schattdecor's existing array of pale, European woodgrains. The lively yet harmonious decor is suited for a broad variety of applications ranging from furniture surfaces in particular to wall panelling. The distinct pores and conspicuous growth rings are typical of the wood.
 
Arusha Wenge is characterised by an attractive 3D look that takes its inspiration from wire-brushed hardwood. The narrow planking features finely-grained areas in alternation with decorative flowered sections.

Merapi Macassar shows the contrast-rich colouration of macassar ebony, a tropical hardwood that has been a major theme at recent international furniture shows. The decor displays very dark, broad streaking in alternation with fine, restrained fibrous tissue, as well as accomplished colouration.
To demonstrate that Schattdecor is intensely involved with digital printing technology, a prototype digital-printing decor by the name of Green World will also be put on show.
As in the past, Schattdecor will again be presenting itself as a strong and dependable partner when it comes to trends and decors. The design trends it has compiled for 2009/2010 provide customers with new insights into the way that people will be fitting out their homes in future.
