05.08.2009 Successful showcase in Korea – Schattdecor's trend themes well received by over 200 customer representatives

The design presentations held by Schattdecor every year in cooperation with its South Korean agent Seong Ji Trading Co. Ltd. proved to be very successful again this July, with new trend themes first unveiled at the Interzum show in May being the subject of this year's events. On the first day of its South Korean trip, the Schattdecor team held its presentation at the plants of two of the country's largest furniture makers. This was the first time the German decor paper printer had been extended such invitations, and the response at the showings was extremely positive. Further presentations for invited customers and business partners from the furniture and flooring industry took place in Seong Ji's new showroom. Opened last year, it is a perfect expression of Schattdecor corporate culture and architecture plus regional characteristics, and proved to be an ideal setting for the events. Claudia Küchen, Schattdecor's Design Manager, and Overseas Sales Director Ulrich Ringelberg are pleased with the results of their trip: "Naturally the main goal of the decor and trend presentations was to promote our new trend themes, but networking and developing a close rapport with customers is also important – after all, direct exchanges across all cultural boundaries are a basis for joint success." A number of the decors put on show met with particular attention, contributing towards the success of the presentations and giving Schattdecor every reason to take an optimistic view of further developments on the South Korean market.
