Schattdecor's investment projects in the USA and Turkey still on track

As already reported in the trade press, Schattdecor AG's two latest building projects are falling behind due to permit-related delays (Turkey) and the current economic situation (USA). However, these setbacks do not alter the decision taken last spring by the Thansau, Germany-based company to establish production facilities on both markets.
Legally binding clarification of final permit-related questions is holding up necessary alteration measures in Turkey, with the result that the production start, which was originally planned for the first six months of this year, has been moved back. This does not in any way affect the organisational or preparatory measures for taking up production in what Schattdecor regards as one of its most important future markets.
The situation is different in the USA, where the difficult global economic situation is hampering seamless transition of the project planning and tender phases. The planning work and site preparations have been completed and the tender documents have been drawn up. Once the economic situation has improved and the market begins to recover in the USA, the various contracts can be put out to tender and construction work can begin.
Schattdecor is adhering to its adopted course of production on both these markets, and is convinced that this is a positive and dependable signal for customers and market partners alike.
