Schattdecor will be putting its top-rate surface finish expertise on show at the Interzum venue this May in a demonstration of continuity while also ensuring customer convenience. At a forward-looking booth located in Hall 6 between the Piazza (a
platform for showcasing surface finish developments)and the Boulevard linking all the halls, the Thansau, Germany-based company will be presenting its latest decors and products plus other exciting topics concerned with the design of furniture and flooring decors. The welcoming mood of the past is sure to reign at the booth again, encouraging guests and customers from all over the globe to not only immerse themselves in the many-facetted Schattdecor world but also stay on a while for intensive talks or come along to the booth party on the first evening of the fair.
The booth architecture will reflect Schattdecor's new trend concept with a merging and intermingling of interior and exterior that is also expressed in the large garden area with espresso bar and trend bungalow at the centre of the booth. Furniture with a lounging appeal will invite visitors to linger and look around at new furniture and flooring decors that provide a fascinating outlook on tomorrow's surfaces as well as plenty of possibilities for realising visions and ideas. Visitors will find themselves discovering new decors that suddenly come into sight in a variety of surprising ways, recalling the interactive decor display approach taken by Schattdecor at past fairs.
The company will also be demonstrating that it is going innovative new ways in terms of tactile surfaces. For example, the surface finish specialist will be showcasing a decor with a perfect mirror finish in the form of
Statuario Venato. This stone decor from Schattdecor's newly-minted Smartfoil High Gloss collection represents an accomplished but rarely-encountered symbiosis of decor design and surface finish. And the new decors
Pinewood and
Laricio Pinie from the brand-new Postfoil 3D collection allow Schattdecor to take its departure from two-dimensional visual textures and enter the realm of new design possibilities enabled by three-dimensional surfaces.
The fact that Schattdecor is also intensely involved with the forward-looking technology of digital printing is indicated by prototype digital-print decors let into the floor below three island-like seating installations.
As in the past, Schattdecor will again be presenting itself as a strong and dependable partner when it comes to trends and decors. The design trends it has compiled for
2009/2010 provide customers with new insights into the way that people will be fitting out their homes in future. Organised into three main themes titled
arranged FOR ALL, created FOR US and
designed FOR ME, the trend concept offers answers to questions about the home furnishings of tomorrow.
Schattdecor will not only be exhibiting at the booth in Hall 6 but also putting various decors and surfaces on display at the hall's Piazza area. At the same time it will also be demonstrating its surface finish expertise at the Laminate Gallery in Hall 4.2, and at the fair's Innovation of Interior event zone will be showing how furniture decors can be used in wall panelling, as consummately demonstrated at its headquarters in Thansau.
Finally, Schattdecor will be launching its new image brochure at the event. With the difficult business environment in mind, the signal sent out in this publication is loud, clear and encouraging: the same attitude that helped Schattdecor develop so successfully in the past lets it takes an optimistic view of the future, plus its special approach ensures it will remain a partner that customers can depend on.
In other words, Schattdecor's showing at the Interzum 2009 involves more than just a product presentation. Rather the company feels that as global market leader, it is both its responsibility and a sign of solidarity with the branch to participate in the key show and steer the kind of reliable and calculable course that will enable it to welcome customers and market partners to future Interzum shows in Cologne.
