    Schattdecor has had a sales office in Curitiba, Brazil, since 1999. In order to gain a further foothold on the Brazilian market, it acquired the foil manufacturer Pertec in Embu in July 2003, complete with a committed and enthusiastic team that helped reform the plant's finish foil operations and introduce it to decor paper printing,
    In 2005, work began on a new plant in Sao José dos Pinhais, with relocation of production to the new site completed in early 2006. Due in part to Schattdecor's living corporate culture, many production workers made the move from Embu to São José dos Pinhais, thus ensuring a smooth transition at the new location.

    The new, 12,500-square-metre decor printing plant is equipped with high-performance presses and units to produce quality decor paper and bespoke finish foil products in keeping with 'Made by Schattdecor' quality standards.
