  • The Głuchołazy plant

    In July 1999, the Schattdecor group gained a majority interest in Prismadecor in Głuchołazy (100 km south of Wrocław), thus gaining a second foothold on the Polish market. Extensive renovation and construction work, including measures to preserve the historic factory buildings, has since been carried out and the subsidiary now has sufficient production, storage and office space to accommodate future growth. In late 2005, Schattdecor AG acquired the remaining shares in Prismadecor.

    The integration of the former joint venture into the Schattdecor group came to a close effective 01.01.2008, and the plant now operates as part of Schattdecor Sp. z o.o. of Tarnowo Podgórne.

    The Głuchołazy plant is specialised in the lacquering of printed decor paper and offers longstanding experience in the production of finish foil on a pre-impregnated decor paper basis. It produces Smartfoil and Ecofoil in line with customer requirements and at the high quality standard typical of Schattdecor products.
