In July 1999, the Schattdecor group gained a majority interest in Prismadecor in Głuchołazy (10 km south of Wrocław), thus gaining a second foothold on the Polish market. Extensive renovation and construction work has since been carried out at the Prismadecor complex, including measures to preserve the historic factory buildings, and the subsidiary now has sufficient production, storage and office space for future expansion. In late 2005, Schattdecor AG acquired the remaining shares in Prismadecor.
